Pickleball Coaching

More Than Pickleball —
A Place to Learn,
Laugh, and Belong.

You don’t have to know a soul or ever have held a paddle. Show up curious — I’ll take it from there.

A Welcoming Way To Start
Or Grow Your Game.

Pickleball can feel intimidating at first — a court full of strangers, a paddle you’ve never swung, everyone else seeming to know the rules. It doesn’t have to be that way. My coaching is patient, my instruction is clear, and nobody stands alone on my courts — I make sure of it in your first ten minutes. You’ll build real skills and real confidence, and somewhere along the way you’ll discover the part nobody tells you about: the people. They’re the reason most of my students stay. You’ll find me on indoor and outdoor courts across Santa Rosa Beach, Destin, Freeport, and the 30A communities.

You'll Find:

  • Beginner-Friendly Coaching
  • Private & Group Lessons
  • 6-Week Programs
  • Guided Open Play
  • Confidence, Community & Fun

Lessons, 6 Week Programs
and Open Play

Open Play

Organized, coached play capped at twelve players. Competitive games, live feedback in real time, and the fastest way I know to find your people on a court.

6 – Week Programs

Structured six-week sessions in five levels, from never-held-a-paddle to competitive play. You'll progress with the same group, week after week — which is exactly how strangers turn into friends.

Lessons

One-on-one or small-group coaching built around where you actually are — from your very first swing to fine-tuning a game you've played for years.

Pickleball Programs

Level 01: Learn

Perfect For: Brand-new players and anyone returning to the game This is where most of my favorite stories start. Over six weeks you’ll learn the rules, scoring, court positioning, and the basic strokes — serve, return, and dinking — until a friendly game feels fun instead of intimidating. And you’ll meet people. That part I can promise.
• Rules, scoring & court positioning
• Serve, return & dink fundamentals
• Essential footwork
• Friendly games & new friendships

Level 02: Improve

Perfect For: Advanced beginners ready for consistency You know the game — now we make it dependable. Six weeks of strengthening your serve and return, building a dink you can trust, and sharpening your footwork, with mobility and agility drills to quicken your response time.
• Consistent serves & returns
• Reliable dinking
• Footwork patterns

Level 03: Elevate

Perfect For: Players bridging toward competitive-ready play This is the bridge program. You&’ll learn transition footwork, reset shots, purposeful dinking, and third-shot variations — and how to build points on purpose instead of just reacting to whatever comes over the net.
• Transition footwork & reset shots
• Third-shot variations
• Purposeful dinking
• Smart partner movement

Level 04: Compete

Perfect For: League and ladder players For players preparing for leagues, ladders, or simply their own next challenge. Six weeks of stronger drilling, tactical gameplay, and decision-making at speed — recognizing patterns, applying strategy, and staying steady under pressure.
• Tactical gameplay
• Advanced drills
• Partner communication
• Match strategy

Level 05: Excel

Perfect For: Level 4 graduates who want to keep climbing Anticipation, advanced shot selection, court control, and point construction. High-level drills and focused game scenarios that build skill and mental sharpness together — so you’re the one setting the pace, not chasing it.
• Predictive play
• Intentional targeting
• Advanced shot selection
• Point construction

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Do I need experience?

Not one bit. Level 1 was built for people who’ve never held a paddle — you’ll learn the rules, the scoring,
and the strokes from scratch, alongside others starting exactly where you are. Some of my best players
walked in having never seen a pickleball court.

Q.Do I need my own paddle?

If you have one, bring it along. If you’re just getting started, don’t worry — I have loaner paddles for your
first class. Comfortable athletic shoes and a willingness to laugh at yourself are all you really need.

Q. Which program is right for me?

If you’re new or coming back after a long break, start with Level 1. Beyond that, the honest answer is: text
me. Tell me where you’re playing now and what you want to work on, and I’ll place you where you’ll
improve fastest. Getting you into the right level is my job, not yours.

Q. How does Open Play work?

Open Play is a monthly small-group experience capped at twelve players — organized match rotations with
live coaching feedback while you play. Text me to request a spot, and payment by Venmo holds it for the
month. Spots can’t be transferred or credited if you miss a session, but you’re welcome to send a substitute
in your place.

Q. Where are classes held?

All lessons, programs, and Open Play happen in Santa Rosa Beach, Destin, Freeport, and the surrounding
30A communities, at indoor and outdoor courts depending on the day and season. Text me for this month’s
locations.

Q. What if I have to miss a class?

It happens — most players miss one class over a six-week session. Your payment holds your spot for the full
program and isn’t refundable, and while I can’t guarantee make-up sessions, you’re always welcome to
coordinate with a classmate to catch up on what you missed. Keeping groups small and spots reserved is
what makes the experience work for everyone.
